People enter individual therapy for problems that range from serious psychiatric difficulties to struggles with everyday problems. Typical issues include depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, grief, trauma, phobias and more. Your first contact with us will be an assessment session, which can take up to 90 minutes. During this time, we will have a conversation about what your needs are, which will determine the type of intervention that we use.
Tanya and George are both experienced in providing a range of scientifically supported approaches to treatment, including a variety of cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT) as well as systems and psychodynamic approaches. Typically, individual treatment sessions are 50 minutes.
